The return. But not to where I left off.

It’s been a while.
If you’ve followed this blog from the beginning, you already know — it wasn’t just a blog. It was a timeline. A confession. A record of what I saw, what I felt, what I couldn’t unsee.
But somewhere after the Psych Ward story… I stopped writing.
Not because there was nothing left to say —
but because I needed time to process what I’d witnessed.
And because what needed to be said… needed to be spoken.
I don’t know how many of you still read this.
Some of you are family — siblings, cousins — blood.
Some of you are strangers who somehow felt seen here.
And some of you are both.
This next part is for all of you.
I’m not here to write theories or sound clever.
I’m here because a lot of us grew up in chaos — but never learned how to name what it did to us.
Too much confusion. Too much fear dressed up as religion.
Too many Muslims haunted by things that aren’t jinn.
So here’s what to expect:
- I’m writing again. Not perfectly. Not regularly. But honestly.
- I’m also speaking — out loud. Raw voice reflections.
That’s what A Brother’s Voice is:
A space to speak from the heart. Like a big brother would.
I want to help those who grew up around chaos.
Who carry things they weren’t meant to carry.
Who feel crazy, cursed, or misunderstood.
Who’ve been misdiagnosed — by raqis, by therapists, by families.
If that’s you — or someone you love — this space is for you.
It’s not therapy. It’s not fatwa. It’s not hype.
It’s just one voice…
trying to break a cycle.
Trying to speak where others stay silent.
Trying to help, without pretending to be the answer.
I'm back. But not to where I left off.
I’m back with a clearer message.
Let’s walk.
— Kazim
If something in this landed — stick around.
I’ll be posting reflections in both writing and voice, all from the same place.
Some things are better heard.
Some truths sit deeper when you don’t have to read them alone.

No noise. Just words — and a voice — that might meet you where you are.
